The Jayco Melbourne 29D is for those looking for a higher quality RV with nice features for traveling and camping. The RV also has a Jayco Melbourne 29D owners Club on facebook with over 120 members. This is nice for troubleshooting and general questions. Some models do not have a strong Facebook group support. The 29D is maneuverable compared to other Class C rvs, holds the road well, and has a smooth ride as it is not a massive "boxy" overly tall rv. It tows well with a jeep wrangler behind it. The layout is great for a couple or those with 1-2 kids. When the slides are closed you have access to almost all of the features of the rv with the exception of the undersink storage cabinet and drawers. The 29D is the previous body style before the Melbourne changed to a class C/B Sprinter ish style. Honesly the 29D is a great layout and great ride. The spare table in the rv is great for creating additional workspace or dining space. Overall the rv is a great choice for anyone looking to have comfort while traveling or wants a dependable RV with limited maintenance compared to other styles. The fiberglass roof and body paint make maintenance a breeze compared to other methods of construction.
